The Executive Network (TEN), the agency for executive search at the top of organisations, has a new CEO as of 1 July 2023: Jean-Pierre Boelen (1966). Boelen gained years of experience as a consultant, the last 18 of which were as a senior partner at Deloitte. With his arrival in the Wassenaar office, he brings abundant knowledge and experience in assembling and managing high-performance teams in a multicultural and international environment. Boelen becomes TEN's 9th partner and succeeds Marty Tuk, who joins the executive search firm's Supervisory Board.

After studying at Delft University of Technology, Boelen started his career as a consultant at Accenture and PWC, among others. During the past 18 years, as a partner at Deloitte, Boelen helped build the financial services practice and held various (inter)national management roles. At Deloitte, he focused on understanding clients' needs, leading transformations, and building and leading high—performance teams in a multicultural and international environment. From 1st July 2023, he will make the move to TEN, taking over from one of its founders and current CEO Marty Tuk.

"Our rapidly changing world, where people, planet and profit are key pillars in the boardroom, calls for a new kind of leader. The key to a future—proof business starts with sustainable leadership and diverse leadership teams, where the potential of each individual is maximised. l look forward to making an impactful contribution to this together with the TEN team, in the Netherlands and internationally," Boelen said.

A foothold in Europe

TEN is the executive search agency for top organisations, focused on filling management and supervisory positions in both the private and public sectors. Since 2022, TEN has been part of The Talent Club, an international collective of more than 20 leading organisations in the field of talent placement within the world of sports, entertainment, technology and leadership. As part of The Talent Club's international growth strategy, the executive search agency is expanding, including opening an office in Paris. More offices abroad will follow in the coming years. In addition to the day-to-day management of the Wassenaar office, Boelen will look after the planned international expansion.

Global issues, strong leadership

TEN's deep-rooted vision of future-proof leadership has for years helped build a stronger top in The Netherlands and, since this year, beyond our borders. Tuk: " Boelen is a team player passionate about talent development and personal growth. With his national and international experience as a boardroom consultant on strategic issues, he is a perfect fit for TEN's team and mission. Boardrooms face major global issues in the areas of - among others- geopolitics, technology, digitalisation, sustainability and security. This calls for strong European leadership. With Boelen on board, we increase our clout to find these leaders, connect with them and grow leadership."
